About Me
My name is Kaitlyn Stradtmann, and I am from Rockford, Illinois. I have two wonderful parents, and a younger brother named Cole. I am a junior at Concordia University of Nebraska, where I am getting a major in Spanish and English Secondary Education. I play soccer for Concordia, and work for the Twin Gardens and Team Corn. I love God, my family, new friends, mission work, and adventures.
I have an enormous fascination with the sights of the world. God has created some amazing landscapes and cultures! My goal is to visit every place on my bucket list!
Not only do I have a love for language and travel, but I also have a deep love for people. Helping and serving people is my passion. Everyone is broken in different ways. How amazing it is that we have a God who is willing to love us in spite of our brokenness and make our weaknesses His strengths!
This semester, I will be studying abroad at the University of Sevilla in Sevilla, Spain. Author and anthropologist Miriam Adeney once said, "You will never be completely at home again (when you travel), because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place”. I cannot wait for a piece of my heart to exist within the people, cities, and sights of España!
